I could make this post a jeremiad about how much I hate Brett Favre (this shouldn’t be news, but he is officially a Viking), but I’ll refrain.  Here are my $0.02:

In my naive youth, I used to think he was a great quarterback, who loved the game, and whose legacy was untouchable.  I was wrong on all counts.  Brett Favre is just a dickhead, who loves the spotlight more than he does football, and is coming back only to stick it to the Packers, specifically GM Ted Thompson.

I can’t wait until we play the Vikings on Monday Night Football.  I hope that he audibles out of runs to Adrian Peterson and tries to beat the Packers’ defense on his own, only to throw interception after interception.  I’m pretty certain he will. I hope he gets sacked, knocked down, and hit so many times that he regrets coming out of retirement and strapping on pads again.
